The main base station (available as a 19" rack mount or as a wall cabinet) provides a button and associated LEDs for each refuge. The LEDs visually communicate refuge status and fault conditions. Voice communication can be with an individual refuge, an instantly created group or all refuges. You can remotely listen to an out station location even if it hasn't been activated by someone in the refuge.
The system can be configured to only become operational once the fire alarm activates. This will prevent malicious use of the system during the normal day.
